What’s the difference? Taste is a festival with a conscience. We work with those who really walk-the-talk when it comes to local, seasonal, and sustainable. We are rather choosey about which restaurants and chefs attend Taste the Difference and BC wineries are asked to only pour wines made from BC grapes. Why? Because we want to make a difference!
We want to support the businesses that support our community. Keeping dollars in our local economy is important and supporting the BC wine industry is integral to keep the industry growing.
Food grown and processed in our backyard saves food miles, offers freshness, and helps us to consume items that have a higher nutritional value.
We could go on… the bottom line is that we really just want you to have a good time!
Come out and taste from hundreds of BC wines from 30 BC wineries. You’ll discover wineries you’ve most likely not heard of and taste wines that are sure to impress.
Come hungry because there are many chefs waiting for you to sample their creations. Our focus is local and you’ll find many ingredients from our own backyard skillfully created into something tempting and delicious. Discover a restaurant that you haven’t been to, chat with the chef, and taste the night away…
