Thank you for applying to showcase your cuisine at The Main Event Thursday July 15, 2010. We are thrilled that you would like to share the bounty of British Columbia with Victoria, Vancouver Island and beyond.  Cuisine will be featured during the consumer tasting portion, The Main Event, 6:00-9:00pm Thursday July 15, 2010.  We invite you to sample Vancouver Island and Gulf Island cuisine to 500-600 foodies and wine lovers. NEW REGISTRATION IS CLOSED - PLEASE CONTACT Kathy McAree 250.385.1527.  There is no participation charge to restaurants who meet eligibility and comply with the very LOCAL theme.  Taste strives to keep the quality the best Vancouver Island can be!

Please be advised that all applicants must hold their own insurance for the events.  Taste and Travel With Taste Tours Ltd. is not liable for its participants.

Sampling is requested to be 1-2 ounces with a strong emphasis on local (Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands). Your cre ation should be easily consumed without cutlery. In order to avoid repetition, choice of culinary creation will be based on order of applications received. There are two kitchens at Crystal Garden and oven use is possible. Please indicate if you would like to use the ovens. Oven access will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Taste can supply plates at your request.  Please bring lots of napkins.
